After doing some research on the types of pets people had in ancient Greece, I'd like to imagine that Helen is the sort of person who has a whole menagerie of birds — and she loves each and every one of them very, very much.

It fits well with her being good at mimicry, you know. Talking and imitating and singing with her beloved birds 💜

(forever) wips below are: scene redraw (that i actually started on way before posting mobsai here. crazy !), and teru in an outfit i saw at the mall once (denim dress. dress made of NOTHING but denim. it caught me off-guard but i think i was just being too harsh <3 he was going to wear those galaxy leggings all middle schoolers wear with it as well)

originally this post was just gonna be me posting pretty old wips that i never finished cuz ive been sick (i actually feel way better now tho) and lazy but then i started perusing some more of my older mobsai doodles and unfinished arts and decided to post those alongside the ones above :) i just think its fun to see how my art has developed grown and changed over a period of time, especially with the designs of these characters

Ohohohohhhh this is gonna be FUN to answerrrrr~

STRAP IN MY DUDES. I've had these facts in a list on google docs for MONTHS.

I'll go through each turtle one at a time. :)

Leonardo- Leo hates it when his schedule is thrown out of whack, his family is put in danger, or when there's loud chaos that he can't keep under control. All of these things coincide when it comes to his charming (troublesome) brothers.

As seen here in this little comic based on my friend's childhood story, Leo suspects that his little brothers are in danger once he begins to hear crying. However~ Once he rushes in, he finds that it was just a dumb prank gone wrong by the two little gremlins. He finds it bothersome when such stress is THRUST UPON HIM by his mischievous siblings. He really doesn't need anymore, thank you. Also whenever he fails at anything ever- and Sensei or his brothers watch it happen. He dies a little on the inside every time there's an audience for his failures.

Michelangelo- This comic also goes over Mikey's pet peeves. He absolutely hates it when one of his jokes goes too far; When it hurts someone's feelings, isn't laughed at, or is just ignored. He never has ill intentions with any of his jokes or pranks. It's always in good fun! But the times when his jokes force an angered Raph to go stomping into his room and lock the door, or make Don yell at him cause it could've been dangerous, makes him feel like the worst brother in the world.

Donatello- Don absolutely DESPISES loud noise when he's trying to work his shift. Or when he's trying to repair another leaking sink or faucet. Or when he's existing at all. He also hates it when his twin, (Raphael) will fool around about his allergies to meat. (Don has Alpha-gal syndrome, which causes his body to react with the following symptoms if he digests mammalian meat: Hives or itchy rash. Nausea or vomiting. Severe stomach pain. Heartburn or indigestion. Cough, shortness of breath, or difficulty breathing. Drop in blood pressure. Swelling of the lips, throat, tongue, or eyelids.)

He also~ as seen here~ HATES IT when an event occurs and has no scientific explanation. Here he is training Lotus in baking. And uh... things do not go according to the recipe. (Definitely not speaking from experience AT ALL.)

Lotus- She can't stand loud sounds. Any kind of *BOOM* or *CLANG* that emanates through the lair sporadically and without warning. She hates not feeling prepared for it, and especially how vulnerable she feels when it happens. The first night she's allowed with some of the brothers to the surface was not easy for her to handle.

Surprises. If someone leaps out in front of her, they will get a fistful and an earful. Mikey quickly learns to not mess with her after a particular situation that ended with him having a full-on black eye.

Last but not least, she gets very annoyed when someone is lying about how they feel. As someone who needed to rely on her instincts to tell if a new doctor would be sincere and kind, or ruthless and apathetic, she learned through the years to recognize masking and lies in a person's facial expression and body language. So when someone in her adopted family is exhibiting these signs, she feels extra offended by the fact that the family member doesn't trust their emotions with those who love them so dearly.

Raphael-  Raph hates it when it’s WAY THE FRICK TOO NOISY. (Just like his temperamental twin.) He also gets thoroughly annoyed by overly emotional people. Those who demand his attention and will drown him in their sob story. This is evident when he's clicking through channels on the tv, and "America's Got Talented People" pops up on screen.

He has the thing called "empathy" deep within him. It's especially obvious when his family is in danger or hurting and he does whatever he can to protect them. If he's forced to, he will take the role of "comforter", but you'll have to drag him into it kicking and screaming.

Spent some time at work trying to come up with a fun character concept for a possible rogue pc for the next campain. This is what i got so far:

A) little fancy lad who is a fallen noble (maybe gothic lolita inspired outfit?) Who is a little snob who basically still acts like a prince despite his family having lost their status

B) stereotypical edgy looking rogue dude (all black leather outfit, face hidden, looks badass and secretive) but has the personality of a puppydog and is just the sweetest ray of sunshine ever (no idea what background to chose for him tho)

C) very chill goth dude who ended up becoming a rogue mostly for the aesthetics (80s goth inspired look) backstory is a hermit because he spent some time alone to find himself, write poetry and make melancholic goth art after his first gf broke up with him

Guess ill wait and see how the other characters are and which concept might work best in the group? I think they would all be fun to play tho

i love WhereWolf but he's on some 'StrongBad's drawing of Trogdor' levels of art. He's not terribly interested in getting better at it, he's more of a music guy.

okay so abt the drawing !! i challenged myself to draw fullbodies since i struggle w it a lot especially doing legs and shoes so this is a practice. i also challenged myself to go through w the sketches when i start on them w/out scrapping em halfway through bc i tend to do that a lot and ending up not drawing at all lol. this was a fun challenge to do and all the lil outfuts and poses were so fun to do

there r some that im very happy w and planning on making into a keychain or stickers for myself hehe

ALPHA KIDS: Draw your best friends!

DIRK: I'd say I'm better at one on one character interaction work of the more intimate variety, but I think this piece came together nicely. DIRK: Fun for the whole family style wholesomeness, any motherfucker in the radius of a screen displaying this image will instantly get hit with a sore case of heartburn and their tear ducts will clock in overtime at the weeping factory.

ROXY: im so proud of these i think these are my best designs yet :3 but omg dirk callie and jake were SOOO peculiar about their damn designs over my shoulder. jake wanted me to clarify that even in pink pen form his little guy is BLUE. so there. sigh this is the one occasion they could take notes from janey.. JUST LET LE ARTIST WORK!

JANE: Boy! I don't draw often but I always was fond of calligraphy growing up. I was kind of inspired by all of the other's works, but especially Calliope's swirls she puts in her art. It's very fun to add!

JAKE: Im not quite the best with posing, but i find the head very fun to study! Especially skulls.. so good ole calliope makes for the perfect muse! (hehe)

CALLIOPE: i realized i hadn't ever made a piece with Us in the same place at once. u_u CALLIOPE: bUt since it's reality now here's all of Us together, United at last! ^u^
